We're making our own VR game

Our friends Daniel and Dennis will help us develop our own VR game and if you bring an android phone, you might even be able to take it with you.

We might not be able to create a game like the Deus Helix in the trailer below during one evening, but the trailer sure is inspiring and we are really getting the best of help for this experience :)

All you need to know

So when and where is it? Wednesday March 8th! The evening will start off at 6 PM at Folkungagatan 44 in Stockholm.

Unfortunately, we have limited spots for this event. If you've got a spot you will receive a confirmation by mail on Friday the 3rd.

Coding skills level? We will develop on Unity and some basic programming skills will make this event more fun.

Bring? A computer and if you have one, an android phone (the VR games will work best if you have a phone with at least Android 5 and accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer).

Energy boost? Snacks will be provided but make sure to eat some dinner before to keep your energy up.

What does it cost? Absolutely nothing!

What is The Code Pub? The Code Pub is a meetup for women (your own definition) who are curious about IT. Initiated in the spring of 2013 with the purpose of increasing the number of women in the IT industry. We believe that we can make a change by lowering the threshold to get started with programming and by highlighting female role models within IT. Therefore, The Code Pub is open for total beginners, hobby programmers, professionals and everything in between!

Since the start much has happened and today we not only host the meetups at our office but we also cooperate with other cool IT companies - and the community is larger than ever, recently hitting a 1000 members!

So the concept is very simple. You hang out with great and inspiring people. Get inspired, inspire others and become a better developer all in the process of having fun!

You can read more about The Code Pub and join the group for future meetups here:
